KOREA-INDIA BUSINESS MEETING
2018 CHUNGBUK TRADE DELEGATION

This event is hosted by CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO (State Government of South Korea) and organised by KITA (Korea International Trade Association). Korean companies are coming to meet Indian buyers who are interested in new technologies and expanding their business. SBC GYEONGNAM INDIA TRADE DELEGATION

This event was held to provide Indian buyers business matching opportunities with promising automobiles and machinery companies located in Gyeongnam, Korea. Total 6 Korean companies and 38 Indian buyers participated in this event to understand the current state of Korean and Indian automobile and machinery markets and look forward to potential business opportunities between Korea and India through B2B meetings.

2018 INDIA–KOREA TECHNOLOGY EXCHANGE AND START–UPS CONFERENCE

The purpose of the event was to provide mutual business opportunities in order to expand the potential collaboration of high-growth start-ups of both countries. The event was participated by a total of 18 Korean companies and more than 50 Indian companies.

The event was also featured with the welcoming remark by Sunil Tyagi (General Manager, India NSIC) and a series of keynote speeches by Ravindra Nath (Chairman and Managing Director, India NSIC), Alka Nangia Arora (Joint Secretary, MSME) and Lee Sang Jik (Chairman, SBC KOREA).

2018 KOREA – INDIA DIGITAL CONTENT CONFERENCE

This event was held to expand digital content technology exchanges and collaborations between Korea and India by B2B meetings. It was attended by 15 Korean companies in the fields of the media, film, animation, educational content division, and converged contents (VR, AR, Hologram) industries.

It was also featured with keynote speeches by Mr. Song Man-ho (Secretary, Ministry of Science and ICT), Mr. Ashok Kumar (Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting), and Mr. Akram(Managing Director, Chamber of Commerce). They spoke about the Korea-India digital content growth strategy, digital heritage cooperation methods, and successful business stories.

2018 INDIA – KOREA TECHNOLOGY EXCHANGE CONFERENCE

This event was carried out with the aim of expanding overseas market penetration through technology exchange between Korea and India. A total of 9 companies from Korea attended this event, and the technical fields of them covered diverse industries such as lights, auto parts, cosmetics, fermenter, packing machine, wrapping paper, and so on. This event was also featured with welcoming remarks from Mr. Seo Sung-kyu (General Manager, SBC) and Mr. Sunil Tyagi(General Manager, NSIC)

2017 INDIA – KOREA TECHNOLOGY EXCHANGE CONFERENCE

This event was held on the purpose of fostering Korean Small & medium businesses abroad by exchange of technologies between Korea and India. A total of 6 Korean companies participated, and their fields were diverse enough covering from LED, Solar power, Bookbinding machine, Rectifier & Alternator, and automobile rear camera. There were 4 MOU signed on the buyer matching day and the next day was spent on visiting site to the factories/offices by Korean participants who were interested.
It was also featured with the presence of high-level officials listed as Kim Gyung-Han(Chief of Mission, Korean embassy) and Park Hak-Hee(Commercial Attache, Korean embassy) as well as Ms. Alka Arora (Director, SME), Ravindra Nath (Chairman and Managing Director, India NSIC) and Mr. Sunil Tyagi(General Manager, NSIC)

2017 IITF, INDIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR

This event was organized by Korea KITA and mainly about 22 Korean companies participating in our fair and meeting up with Indian buyers visiting their booth for potential business. Their products showcased ranged from a mixer, though tea and healthcare products to stove machine. We took charge in 12 companies as for finding right Indian buyers for them as well as consulting them on Indian market information such as entrance strategies or Indian tax law.

2017 AT CENTER K-FOOD BUSINESS MEETING

This event was specially organized for major Korean food companies, such as Namyang, Ottogi, Marineseed, which participated in this event to meet about 20 genuine select Indian buyers. We also provided a lecture and one-to-one consulting service as to characteristics of the Indian food market and FSSAI license related information.

2017 JEONBUK BIO-VITALITY MATERIAL INDUSTRY TRADE MISSION

This event was about Korean bio-food and cosmetics companies to have one-to-one meeting opportunities with Indian buyers with the same industries. Specific product fields of each Korean companies included functional cosmetic, ginseng products, vitamin drinks and so on. A number of Indian buyers were contacted through us and visited this event to meet with our Korean companies.
